One day at motocross a boy said to his friend I heard hes not that fast at racing.

the boys went up to him and said why are you here? you know you arn't fast...you always come last!

but the boy didnt listen to them . he continued with checking his bike, making sure everything was just right before his race.

then they called up...all riders to the start line...all riders....to the start line. the boy jumped on his bike and rode up to the start line..

ready.....set...GO! the boy jumped down on his kick starter!....brrrrr....off he flew down the track.

meanwhile the rest of the boys were still struggling to start their bikes, one even ran out of petrol...

thje moral of the story is dont let other put you down,. always focuse on what you need to do and accomplish it!

My Motocross Holiday

 On saturday we got to go to a motocross race There were not many people

Because of the Level3 there were only 10 people in my race i had fun

we did some big jumps and i even had a spill

My brother ride my Dads big bike also he went well

Now i bike is muddy and will need a clean and all my bike riding gear needs cleaning

what i activities i enjoyed this week at waikowai primary

 At my school I enjoyed some pixel art work that we did .where we had to make a imaginary dog or your real life dog. iIdont know if you know but I have a dog called Bentley and she is a black labrador and another dog that I just got named Rio and she is brown labrador .I also read a book that Eon Musk sent a tesla cyber truck to space and the tesla cyber truck had sum dents but the other normal car exploded. He had wanted to test this to show how well built the tesla was.

 At my summit point school and I made a mood board. This is for our comunity. im ussing recycled wood, a a garden for the comunity, a art area where you can make things and then a market where we can sell food and crafts. I also wanna do pump track and ganeing area ao everyone that doesnt have playstations can play together.

Today we did PE and art together.

we made a track for people to follow and get fit.

 Today we made a kia kaha sign out of rocks. here are some of my photos. You can't  see my house you windows so we put it on the side of our drive way.  Ive seem people walk past it smiling and taking a photo. 

Bmx free style sport study olympic games

So at Waikowai Primary our focus in Te Waka Ako is the Olympics! There is 28 sports to chose from my sport study is bmx. A bmx is a small bike meant specifically for either tricks or racing and this sport can be played anywhere if you have a bmx. I'm sure after this you're going to ask your parents to get you a bmx. If your wondering what bmx stands for it stands for Bicycle Motocross. A BMX bike is made for off-road racing and trick riding doing trick like a back flip. so thats all bloggers blog you later

measurement work math

Last week we started measurement work. We made strips out of card and cellotaped it together to make a meter ruler. Then we had  to measure stuff in our class room  that was 1 meter long. For example 2.6 was the netball post  it was 2.6 m long. Then we used our meter ruler to measure our body parts like  our arms, legs and head. I really enjoyed this activity because we made our own ruler.

Queenstown trip super fun!

I wake up to the sound of the bump outside the air bnb. Dung dung I hear and it was on the side of a mountain lucky i am not scared of heights.... wait mum is! (Breathing in deep)  she says at  least the view is good and  we purposely put her on the 3 layer with a window, she will be scared but we did not know that in the bathroom there is a door and my mum said it is a hot tub here! We ran up the stairs she says it is in my room you can not use it. Later that day there is a place called i fly and it is sky diving for kids in a big tube wear the winds get as high as a tornado and the insider has some cool shoes the keep them to the ground. Then at one point let off with the button and the boots deactivate and up up and away and we went to a place called thrill zone and cookie time shop were they have the best hot chocolate chip cookies that are warm. You can have it plain or with any flavor ice cream of your choice and we got to feel real snow and the luge and rode up the gondolar up the mountain and the luge is so fun me and my dad were racing but he won 2nd I got last my brother got first. We went home and got takeaways from Margos and you google it, I could not get the link for some reason. We also went to go on enduro qaud bike this is the place so that's really all. It was an amazing trip! Blog you later

pink shirt day!

On pink shirt day the whole school was wearing pink so we finished Assembly and we formed a pink shirt and got cool drone shots.  Then we did learning till it was lunch. The school did   not feel like one I was so excited I knew it was going to be a good day. Then after lunch we made 2 t-shirts which we would put in our neighbors letter box. My neighbor came and dropped some chocolate chip cookies on pink shirt day and we got 10 cookies. Anyways  back to pink shirt day at Waikowhai primary you should check these photos out there really cool there is 2 see you next time 

Year 5 Only Day ...well kinda

 So today the year 6's went to the Spark Arena and they were going to happy place. But I know what your thinking what did the year fives do? We had just as much fun as them, we were with Ms McGrath we started the long roll when we finished then we made fortune tellers (fold up versions). Then we were going to talk about Pink Shirt Day first, after that we started to do the fortune teller.  So we wrote  some positive messages for when we get angry and if were sad. We did that till the year sixes came back and then it was back to school work... ew don't say that again  

Cameron Pools

On Tuesday we were going to Cameron Pools and we were waiting for the bus to come I was sooo exited. The bus finally came we scatted through the I got the best seat the window seat we could hear the noise of a bunch of exited kids. We were finally there, we walked in we put our stuff down then the swimming teacher called our names. I heard my name and we jumped in and we do our lesson, we did kicking. At  2:45 we have to get out we get back into our uniform then we jump in the bus and get to school, then we tidy up then it is home time. Don't forget to check these cool photos 

ANZAC Day in the trenches

When we got to school there was strings for trenches almost at no mans land and not just for an hour it was till 3 clock!.

We did a basic facts test under gun fire it was so hard I only got 17/100  and that was our maths lesson

Then we had fruit break and the teacher would play gun shots and bombs while we were eating fruit

Then we did writing and we did a letter from the trenches and there gun shots. We went swimming it was soooo cold and raining really heavy. 

When it was 2:30 then we were blind folded and we had to untie the string it took 45 minutes.
